Things haven’t gone according to plan for Myles Garrett and the Cleveland Browns so far this season.

Despite coming into the season with their sights set on the Super Bowl, Cleveland has sputtered. After losing in blowout fashion to Mac Jones and the Patriots on Sunday, the Browns are now sitting at 5-5 on the season, which lands them in last place in the highly competitive AFC North.

When speaking on the 45-7 loss, Myles Garrett appeared to throw his coaches under the bus.

“We’ve got to go back to the drawing board and see how we can get better, see how we can scheme better, see how we can make adjustments on the fly,” Garrett said during his postgame press conference. “We never had a chance just because we didn’t make any adjustments on the sideline or when we had time to.”

While Myles Garrett didn’t name his coaches, he was clearly not to thrilled with the team’s inability to adjust to the Patriots offense on the fly.

At one point during the game, the Pats were down 7-0 before scoring 45 straight points unanswered.

Cleveland’s defense was considered a top unit in the league coming into the season. But after a few brutal performances, they’ll now be forced to find their identity again.

It wasn’t surprising to see the Patriots defeat the Browns on Sunday. But anybody who says they saw Mac Jones tearing up the Browns – leading to a blowout – would be lying out of their teeth.

Myles Garrett is frustrated, and the Browns coaching staff will now be forced to find answers, or this entire season could end up being a wash.
