While the Houston Astros and Boston Red Sox were the teams who went down hard after the MLB unraveled their elaborate sign-stealing schemes, it looks like those actions might have just been part of a whole trend around the league.

Ryan Spaeder, a guy who has worked in and around baseball for many years, is now coming forward with a lot of information he has gathered about sign-stealing in baseball.

Spaeder took his claims to Twitter, where he created a long thread to come forward with his supposed findings.

According to Ryan Spaeder, the Royals and Yankees were the first teams to use illegal practices to know what pitches were coming next.

Spaeder also says that the Dodgers (and specifically Chase Utley) were also huge cheaters.

Adrian Beltre reportedly went as far as having a buddy in the outfield seats change shirts to let him know which pitch was coming.

Spaeder finished his rant by claiming the Astros learned their scheme when Carlos Beltran came over. Beltran allegedly learned how to illegally steal signs during his time with the Yankees.

Also, the Rockies were involved in the allegations, as well.

So take all this as you will. We know cheating in the MLB has been going on for many years, and I don’t think it’s a stretch to think that all of these allegations could be true.

In fact, I think it would be asinine to think that the Astros and Red Sox were the only teams who used video to steal signs.
