After Steve Kerr compared Kevin Durant to Michael Jordan earlier in the week, one ESPN analyst took issue.

Appearing on Thursday morning’s edition of “Get Up”, Tim Legler was asked how many points he thinks MJ would score if he played in today’s offense-dominated style of play.

“There’s absolutely no question in my mind that Michael Jordan would lead the league in scoring every single year [if he played today], and he probably would be somewhere around 40 a night,” Legler said.

On Wednesday, Steve Kerr made headlines when he declared that Kevin Durant was more gifted than Michael Jordan.

Steve Kerr and Kevin Durant have traded jabs (of sorts) after the superstar left Golden State to join the Brooklyn Nets.

Despite all the riff-raff, Kerr and the Warriors ownership now has nothing but exemplary things to say about KD.

To say he’s better than Michael Jordan, though? I don’t know. Steve Kerr should know better than that.
