Former NBA star Michael Jordan is giving back to where it all began, his hometown of Wilmington, North Carolina. The basketball legend is donating $10M USD to help aid in launching two medical clinics in North Carolina. The Novant Health clinics are expected to open in early 2022 within underprivileged communities, near Jordan’s hometown of Wilmington.
