Chicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy has been the talk of his city for all the wrong reasons this week.

After getting beat be a Lamar Jackson-less Ravens team, the “fire Nagy” chants have been heard at the Chicago Bulls game as well as his son’s high school football game.

And on Tuesday, a report leaked that Matt Nagy has already been told by the team’s management that Thursday’s game against the Lions will be his last.

During a media session on Tuesday, Matt Nagy called that story inaccurate.

When speaking on the rumor, Bears special teams coach Chris Tabor (who filled in earlier in the year when Matt Nagy had COVID) also said he was unaware of the bombshell report from earlier in the day.

Matt Nagy has little to know chance of being the Bears head coach when the 2022 season begins. Now, it’s just a matter of when ownership decides to pull the plug.
