While the report was just dropped on NFL Draft day, Aaron Rodgers has reportedly been telling members of the Green Bay Packers front office that he refuses to play for the team again. He’s evidently had enough of general manager Brian Gutekunst, and feels like his wishes have not been fulfilled whatsoever by the organization.

According to the report by Adam Schefter, members of the Packers organization have been flying out to see Aaron Rodgers over the course of the offseason, with hopes to make things right with the reigning MVP. Head coach Matt LaFleur made one of those visits. And when the Niners inquired about tradint for Aaron Rodgers, LaFleur reportedly told him that it wasn’t going to happen.

During rookie minicamp, Matt LaFleur was asked about where the team stands with Aaron Rodgers today.

“I’ve got nothing new to update. We still obviously feel the same way. We want him back in the worst way,” LaFleur said to reporters.

It seems like Aaron Rodgers is fully prepared to keep the Packers hanging up until Training Camp. And then it’s either, he shows up, or he doesn’t. It’s really anyones best guess.

Is Aaron Rodgers really willing to sit out at this stage of his career? Time will tell.
