Will we finally get our Astros shame tour this season?

After their infamous cheating scandal stole the headlines in the MLB in 2019, a global pandemic let the Astros off the hook last season. In what would have been loud boos and taunts from opposing fans all season long, the Astros got to play in front of no fans at all.

Now, every stadium will be letting at least a small percentage of fans in, and I’m sure the Astros will still hear the heckling everywhere they go. In fact, it’s already starting in Spring Training.

A security guard was banging on a trash can (like the Astros did to illegally relay signs) during an entire Alex Bregman at-bat.

Bregman would end up striking out looking during the AB. Maybe the security guard played a role? Check out the video of the play appearance. You can clearly hear the banging throughout the stadium.

Fans were loving the move.

Alex Bregman and the Astros better get used to it now. They’re going to be hearing stuff like this all season long.
