Maria Taylor Seemingly Reacts to Rachel Nichols Being Pulled Off ESPN Programming

Maria Taylor and Rachel Nichols will forever be linked, and it appears Maria is pretty happy with the latest Rachel Nichols developments. Earlier this week Rachel Nichols, ESPN’s longtime NBA host, was removed from coverage of the NBA, and her weekday show “The Jump” was canceled.

ESPN has no current plans for Rachel, and they may just pay her to sit on the sidelines until her contract expires.

Last month the New York Times published a story that reported comments Nichols made about another NBA analyst, Maria Taylor, who has since left the network.

Nichols said he was sorry on air, saying how “deeply, deeply sorry I am for disappointing those I hurt, particularly Maria Taylor.”

When the news dropped of Rachel’s laest setback, everyone was curious what was going on in Maria Taylor’s head.

Now we may have a clue. Maria took to her IG story to seemingly gloat over the Nichols ESPN benching.

Watch Maria seemingly react below:

That wink says it all.

She also posted this:

Remember kids, if you have nothing nice to say…

Best of luck to Maria at NBC.

May she rest better at night knowing her competition did themselves in.
