It’s looking more and more likely that Sergio Ramos will be on the move this Summer.

The Spanish legend has already accomplished enough during his run with Real Madrid to make him one of the most celebrated players in league history. Over his career, Ramos has five La Liga titles, four European Cups, two European Championships, and a World Cup to his name.

Now that the Madrid captain is entering the twilight of his illustrious career, it might be time to wind down elsewhere. That landing spot could very well be Manchester United.

According to the Daily Mirror, the Spaniard has identified Man United as his first-choice destination. Paris Saint-Germain has also shown interest in the defender, but it would appear that he’s more keen on joining the Premier League.

At one point, Madrid was hoping to get a new contract done with Sergio Ramos, but it looks like those talks have collapse, and he’s already moved on.

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane recently spoke about his desire to keep Ramos on the club for the long term.

“Yes, we all want [contracts to be signed],” Zidane said via GOAL. “We want the situation to be sorted as quickly as possible. It’s in everyone’s interests, it would be good for everyone, so hopefully it can be sorted out quickly.”

Unfortunately for Zidane, it’s becoming increasingly more likely that Ramos’ run is coming to a close, and that he’ll be joining Man U very soon. What a run it was for Sergio Ramos at Bernabeu.
