Luka Doncic has been making news in the NBA after the Mavericks were eliminated in the postseason. According to reports, the young star is not happy with the front office. And he was even more unhappy after the team “parted ways” with longtime general manager Donnie Nelson.

While with the Slovenia National Team, Luka Doncic spoke on how tough it was for him to see Donnie Nelson go.

“It was kind of tough to me,” Luka Doncic said. “I really like Donnie. I know him since I was a kid and he was the one that drafted me. It was tough for me seeing that, but I’m not the one making decisions there.”

Despite Luka Doncic being upset with the Mavericks’ management, he is reportedly still expected to accept his massive extension with the team when it’s offered.

While Luka Doncic might not love what the Mavs are doing right now, it’s still kind of hard to turn down life-changing money.

It would be in Dallas’ best interest to get their star player happy prior to next season, though.
