Le’Veon Bell Sorry for Airing Andy Reid Feelings on Social Media

Le'Veon Bell apologized for his comments about the Kansas City Chiefs and coach Andy Reid after saying he'd rather retire than play for Reid again

Former Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell signed a four-year, $52.5 million deal with the New York Jets after his hold out year, and only played 17 games with the team before they eventually parted ways. Less than a week after he was released, Le’Veon Bell landed on the Kansas City Chiefs. He started just two games but appeared in nine of their regular season games.

As it turns out, the former bell cow of the Steelers didn’t enjoy playing for Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs very much, and made his feelings vocal on social media in the comment section.

Le’Veon Bell later took to Twitter to apologize for his comments.

“I’ll admit that’s somethin I could’ve and should’ve kept to myself & I apologize about that and that only… but I don’t regret what I said, because that’s how I feel…” Bell tweeted.

He then tried to explained further:

Bell said otherwise he enjoyed his one season with the Chiefs in 2020.

“never did I say I didn’t enjoy my time in KC, because I loved my time there, and was probably the closest locker room full of players I ever been around…I enjoyed my teammates, the city, food, the fans, just about everything in KC…” Bell wrote.

Le’Veon Bell’s contract with the Chiefs expired at the end of last season, and the once former Pro Bowler is still unsigned.

His career hasn’t been the same since he sat out that year with the Steelers.
