LeBron James’ Lakers had an interesting start to free agency.
After needing to shore up some spots on their roster, general manager Rob Pelinka decided to make the already aging Lakers group even older.
To build around LeBron and Anthony Davis, the Lakers added Russell Westbrook, Carmelo Anthony, Dwight Howard, etc.

Obviously critics pointed to the Lakers age as a reason why they won’t be able to keep up in a stacked Western Conference next season, and LeBron has heard those haters.
LeBron James took to Twitter and posted a since-deleted tweet to anyone who questions what his group is capable of.

LeBron James (like so many great players in sports) finds motivation in just about everything, and he’ll be sure to remember everyone who questioned the free agency moves when next season rolls around.
The Lakers are likely not done adding to their team, but they’re bound to be one of the oldest groups in the NBA no matter what happens from here on out.
Can LeBron still carry a team to a championship?
