The Baylor Bears women’s basketball team was locked in an intense battle in the Elite 8 against Geno Auriemma’s UConn squad today.

In the waning moments, Baylor was down one, with a chance to win it at the buzzer. DiJonai Carrington appeared to get hacked on the team’s last shot, but no call was made. UConn ended up winning the game 69-67, and advancing in the tournament.

I’ll let you be the judge, foul or no foul?

Some close-up looks made it appear that Carrington was most definitely fouled on the play.

LeBron James was watching the game, and made it clear that he thought Baylor was screwed by the non-call.

LeBron wasn’t alone, many people flocked to social media to share their belief that DiJonai Carrington was fouled by UConn.

Unfortunately for Baylor, the call was not made, and they’re heading home.

As for UConn, their unprecedented run of dominance will continue, and I’ll be shocked if anyone stops them from winning another championship. What a game, but you hate to see it end with controversy.

The rivalry between LeBron James and refs lives on.
