The NBA community is trolling heavy after LeBron James' Los Angeles Lakers decided to stand pat at the NBA Trade Deadline

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has built a close relationship with teammate Jared Dudley. But even as Dudley’s NBA career appears to be winding down, LeBron isn’t ready.

Earlier this afternoon it was announced that Dudley was ending his long playing career to take a job on Jason Kidd’s bench with the Mavericks.

LeBron took to Twitter to share his response to the Jared Dudley news.

LeBron James would follow up his original tweet by apologizing for his horrid language, saying people just wouldn’t understand what Jared Dudley means to him.

It’s probably a blessing in disguise for LeBron James and the Lakers that Jared Dudley is deciding to call it quits.

It is no secret that LA hasn’t gotten any younger from their already-old roster during the offseason. And keeping Dudley around could take a spot away from an up-and-comer.

But nonetheless, LeBron James’ sentiment about Dudley is extremely consistent with anyone who has ever played with him. The dude just seems like the ultimate teammate.

Congrats to Jared Dudley on a solid NBA career, and we’re expecting a successful second act as a coach.
