Lebron James is channeling his inner Michael Jordan. Both on the court, and off it. On the court, Lebron won another ring, making it his fourth NBA championship. Off the court, Lebron is turning into quite the businessman. It was announced earlier today that Lebron was investing in a tequila company.

Lobos Tequila 1707 is the brand. With Lebron’s help, the goal is to make this one of the most sought after alcohol bottles in America.

Lebron spoke with the Wall Street Journal about his new business venture.

“I was in a perfect place in my life. Me and my friends were trying different tequilas. I actually bought a place with Maverick Carter in Cabo a few years ago. There’s obviously a big tequila heritage there.”

The Lobos tequila is set to range from around $40-$150 depending on what bottle you get. It’s clear that Lebron is very excited about his new opportunity.

Lebron James is well on his way to becoming a successful businessman after his playing days. Not that he’ll be done playing anytime soon. Lebron is still a top tier player in the NBA, and hasn’t shown too many signs of slowing down.

When he does decide to hang it up, he’ll have many business avenues to choose from. Tequila is just the start.
