LaMarcus Aldridge and the San Antonio Spurs have agreed to not have the seven-time All-Star play for the franchise anymore while they explore trade options after returning from the midseason break. Shams Charania of The Athletic reported the Spurs remain committed to finding a trade partner ahead of the March 25 deadline. Now the suitors have been revealed.

The Miami Heat, Portland Trail Blazers and Boston Celtics are expected to be the leading suitors for LaMarcus Aldridge if he’s bought out by the San Antonio Spurs.

Aldridge makes $24 million a year, so while several teams in playoff contention would love to add him, it will be tough for certain teams to try to match salaries of players they’re willing to part with.

We’ll see what happens, maybe a mystery team will swoop in last minute?
