The hype train has been chugging all preseason long for Charlotte Hornets rookie LaMelo Ball. He showed some glimpses of awesomeness during the Hornets 2 preseason games. Everyone was ready for him to destroy the league, and unfortunately for LaMelo, he laid an egg in his NBA debut. As a result the internet had a field day.

Of course the internet will pounce on him when he stinks. Still believe LaMelo will be special. We should try to support instead of trying to tear them down after 48 minutes.
