The Lakers Big 3 are not panning out exactly as planned.
The Lakers are only 10-8 in games LeBron, Westbrook, and Anthony Davis have played in together. Westbrook was benched in the fourth quarter for the second game in a row.
After the Lakers 131-116 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, LeBron James told reporters that it is clear the Lakers aren’t on the same level as the defending champions.
According to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin, the embarrassing loss has led to a feeling in the locker room that the Lakers have to make a change prior to Thursday’s trade deadline.
New story: Tuesday’s loss to the Bucks made a sneaking suspicion become abundantly clear in the Lakers locker room – The roster is not working and something must be done to change it before Thursday’s trade deadline, sources told ESPN https://t.co/YG97SGa2Lm

Lakers players reportedly do not feel that doing nothing and hoping their play improves down the stretch is a viable option.
Nobody who follows the Lakers is probably too surprised what’s going on.
And what changes can be done? They lost all leverage when they traded for Westbrook.
It’s one thing to have a dream team on paper, it’s another thing to actually make that work on the court.
