Frank Vogel once again has found himself answering questions about his job security on Wednesday night.

Vogel’s job status has been a source of intense speculation in recent weeks as the Lakers have been struggling.

Vogel addressed the elephant in the room.

“I don’t feel like I’m under siege,” Vogel said before the Lakers lost 111-104 to the Indiana Pacers. “It’s not hard to do my job; I’m very focused on the task at hand. I’ve always been that way.”

Per Chris Haynes, the Lakers “will not be making a personnel move at this juncture” after Wednesday’s loss to the Indiana Pacers, and Vogel will coach Friday’s game against the Orlando Magic.

Vogel is in his third season as Lakers head coach.

He led them to an NBA championship during his first season in 2019-20, but they finished 42-30 and were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs last season.

Only a matter of time before Vogel gets the boot.

Scapegoat city.
