Kyler Murray Lashes Out At Writer Who Questioned His Offseason ‘Regimen’ In Since-Deleted Tweet

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray finally broke his silence about the reported rift between him and the team heading into the offseason

Kyler Murray showed the entire world last season that he has the makings of being a superstar in the NFL for many years to come. If Murray can take the next step, he’ll be right up there with the game’s elite quarterbacks.

With this being the case, Murray’s offseason carries some added importance this year. However, one NFL writer is skeptical of Murray’s commitment to being great.

“Josh Allen worked extensively during the offseason last year with Jordan Palmer,” Cardinals writer Chuck Harris said in a tweet. “Huge improvement. 2nd in MVP voting. He knew yo get to that next level, he had to put the work in during the offseason….Haven’t heard a peep about Murray’s offseason regimen.”

Kyler Murray had a message for Harris, which he shared in a Tweet that was deleted shortly after.

Despite Kyler Murray’s monster year in 2020, the Cardinals finished 8-8, and missed out on the postseason.

For the Cardinals to become a real contender, they’ll need their young quarterback to play the role of Superman for them. Given Murray’s skillset, he’s certainly capable of taking over NFL games; now we’ll see if he can do it consistently.

I have a feeling Kyler Murray will be even more fun to watch this season. Watch out for the Cardinals as a dark-horse to come out of the NFC West.
