Warriors bench boss Steve Kerr had only criticisms for Steph Curry after his practice video of 105 three-pointers made in a row went viral.

“He choked…Couldn’t make the 106th one,” said Kerr before tip-off against the Chicago Bulls. “I guess he just didn’t have it in him. It’s very disappointing.”

After that viral practice, the Warriors took on the winless Chicago Bulls after suffering two devastating losses to Brooklyn and Milwaukee.

Curry’s shooting led the way with 36 points, a season high, the but the late game heroics came from an unlikely source; Damien Lee. Lee hit a three-pointer with 1.7 seconds remaining to give Golden State its first win of the season.

It has not been the return to glory the Warriors were expecting after a 15-win campaign in the 2020 season. Klay Thompson’s injury has completely derailed the offense, particularly outside shooting. Thompson, a career 42 percent shooter from three, has been replaced by Andrew Wiggins and Kelly Oubre Jr.. Combined, they are shooting 4-for-40 from three over the team’s first three games.

Oubre Jr., has especially struggled with adjusting to his new team. He is averaging 5.7 points per game on 7-for-40 shooting (17.5%) while also finding himself in foul trouble.
