Justin Herbert’s New Haircut Has Social Media Going Crazy

Justin Herbert has had a hell of a start to his NFL career. His Chargers are in last place in the AFC West, but that’s no knock on Herbert. The kid has been balling. He remains kind of an unassuming guy, though. His new look makes him look even more low-key.

Fittingly, Herbert admits that he allowed a coach to cut his hair.

According to Justin Herbert, Chargers strength and conditioning coach cut his hair. “He said he was good with the clippers,” said Herbert. “I think he did a good job.”

I’m team Justin Herbert here. I think all that hair must make wearing a helmet uncomfortable It might even make it hard to hear the play call. At least Trevor Lawrence wears a headband so it kind of makes the long hair work better.

Herbert is a kid who grew up in Eugene, Oregon and went to college at Oregon University, in Eugene. He probably hasn’t ventured too far out of his way, and now all of the sudden he’s thrusted into stardom, and even his haircuts are big news. Herbert doesn’t really strike me as the type of guy who gives a fuck how he looks. He just wants to win football games.
