Justin Fields Was Almost Decapitated By Bills LB Andre Smith

Justin Fields is lucky his head is still attached to his head after receiving an ugly helmet to helmet hit from Buffalo Bills LB Andre Smith.

The play occurred in the 4th quarter on Saturday’s pre-season contest between the Chicago Bears and the Buffalo Bills.

Bills LB Andre Smith came around the line and absolutely leveled Fields with some helmet to helmet contact on the play.

Fields stayed in the game and finished out the rest of the 4th quarter. He finished 9/19 for 80 yards and adding 4 rushes for 46 yards.

The big story of the night was Mitch Trubisky’s return to Chicago. The Bills came out and played him a bunch allowing him to rack up 20 completions for 221 yards and a TD adding one rush for 11 yards.

The Bills won 41 – 15.
