Chicago Bears rookie quarterback Justin Fields has been turning heads all throughout Training Camp. But on Thursday, he had his best practice yet.

Every member of the Chicago media who was in attendance at Training Camp on Thursday was raving about Justin Fields’ light-out performance.
Justin Fields goes 3 for 3 with 3 touchdowns and a rushing TD in Red Zone drills. Impressive stuff. #Bears

If you were waiting for Justin Fields’ breakout practice, this was it. Next test: Saturday’s game, when he can get hit. https://t.co/nUvzcLgDXY

Justin Fields absolutely masterful in a six-play low red zone period. Three TD passes and an astute tuck-and-run TD.

28. If Justin Fields makes it big this season, we'll look back on Thursday's red-zone drill as The Moment it was clear he was destined for greatness — a dominant performance with six TDs that displayed every facet of his game — run, pass, rollout — that makes him a lethal weapon.

Second day of the Bears-Dolphins joint practices is now over. I spent most of the day watching the Bears' offense vs. the Dolphins' defense. Just two thoughts:
1. Justin Fields was the best player on Field 3.
2. Andy Dalton's struggles were real vs. the Dolphins' starters.

Man, Justin Fields is flat out special! The crazy part is, he hasn’t even come close to scratching the surface of his greatness. #Bears 🐻⬇️

So far, the Bears have stayed firm on their plan to start Andy Dalton over Justin Fields to begin the season. But the dynamic rookie might be changing the narrative.
Chicago has their first preseason game on Saturday when they face off against the Dolphins at Soldier Field, and coach Matt Nagy has already said that Fields will get plenty of reps in the game.
“For Justin, for sure [he’ll play] past the halftime,” Nagy said before the Bears and Dolphins held a joint practice via ESPN.
“The mindset going into this is that he’s going to get a lot of reps. Does that take him into the fourth quarter? Maybe. … The more reps we can get him right now, the better. It’s only going to help him.”
If Justin Fields continues to dominate practices, and turns some heads during preseason, expect him to start under center for the Bears Week One.
