Justin Bieber Sends a Message to Simone Biles

If anyone knows about mental health issues, it’s Justin Bieber. Justin Bieber sent a message to support to Simone Biles after the gymnast pulled out of the Tokyo Summer Olympics to address her mental health.

Bieber spoke about pressure, which he knows all about.

The Canadian singer likened his past decision to ending his 2017 Purpose tour amid mental health issues

‘Nobody will ever understand the pressures you face!’ Bieber, 27, captioned the Instagram post Wednesday, which featured an image of the 24-year-old Olympian. ‘I know we don’t know each other but I’m so proud of the decision to withdraw.’

He continued: ‘It’s as simple as – what does it mean to gain the whole world but forfeit your soul. Sometimes our no’s are more powerful than our yes’s. When what you normally love starts to steal your joy it’s important we take a step back to evaluate why.’

‘People thought I was crazy for not finishing the purpose tour but it was the best thing I could have done for my mental health!!’ the Peaches singer wrote. ‘So proud of you @simonebiles.’

Speaking with the Today show, Biles said she felt good and in shape amid her exit:

‘Emotionally, that kind of varies on the time and moment.

‘Coming to the Olympics and being head star isn’t an easy feat, so we’re just trying to take it one day at a time and we’ll see.’
