Jordan Love Finally Opens Up On Packers QB Situation Without Aaron Rodgers

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love finally spoke to the media on the chance to be the starting QB with Aaron Rodgers absent

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love might be thrusted into NFL action before anyone had expected.

With Aaron Rodgers reportedly not interested in returning to the Packers amid a rift with the teams’ brass, it might be time for the young Love to get his shot as a starting quarterback.

While Love has been shielded from the media thus far, he finally made some comments about where his head is at throughout all the drama surrounding the Packers QB situation.

According to Jordan Love, he is ‘100 percent’ ready to be the Packers starter this season.

“I’m going to take it day by day, but yeah, that’s what I’m here for. I was drafted here to play quarterback so I’ll definitely be ready to play Week 1,” he added via ESPN’s Rob Demovsky

While the early reports from Packers minicamp indicated that Jordan Love was unimpressive, Packers reporters said he looked much better during practice on Wednesday.

While nobody really knows what to expect from Jordan Love, this preseason will have some added importance for the young Packers QB. Especially if Aaron Rodgers continues to be a no-show.
