Jon Gruden has gone from beloved football coach to ousted racist unemployed coach.

But apparently that doesn’t mean he’s just hanging at home not doing anything. Gruden is churning the rumor mill, and this latest report has Gruden with some inside knowledge of the Washington Football Team. Per the report, apparently the NFL is trying to get rid of Dan Synder, and the man who will replace him is allegedly Jeff Bezos.

Gruden says Jeff Bezos is nearing a deal to buy the team for $5.8 billion.

“Just talked to Jon Gruden at MGM, per him Dan Snyder is being pressured to sell the team by other owners around the league. Gruden says Jeff Bezos is nearing a deal to buy the team for $5.8 billion. Expect talks to speed up over the next week. Snyder should be out by week 8.”

According to a report from CBS Sports, Bezos has “become close” with several NFL team owners and has “strong support” inside the league.

Bezos is currently the world’s wealthiest man.

If he wants an NFL team, he’s going to figure out a way to get one.
