Joe Judge Got Over The Giants Firing By Ordering A Whole Lot Of Beer And Pizza

Even if Joe Judge’s tenure with the Giants was an utter disaster, you have got to respect the move he made after getting fired earlier in the week.

In an extremely relatable reaction, Judge order a King’s ransoms worth of pizza and cheap beer after he was told he would no longer be the head coach in New York.

TMZ caught pictures of Joe Judge accepting the massive delivery order when stalking him out at his residence.

It’s obviously not clear if Joe Judge threw some sort of banger after he was fired, or if he was just ordering a whole ton of pizza and brew for him and his family to enjoy.

It really seemed like the Giants were preparing to retain Judge. But when push came to shove, owner John Mara made the easy call to let him go after a disastrous two season at the helm.

“Steve (Tisch) and I both believe it is in the best interest of our franchise to move in another direction,” said Mara in a statement. “We met with Joe yesterday afternoon to discuss the state of the team. I met again with Joe this afternoon, and it was during that conversation I informed Joe of our decision. We appreciate Joe’s efforts on behalf of the organization.

“I said before the season started that I wanted to feel good about the direction we were headed when we played our last game of the season. Unfortunately, I cannot make that statement, which is why we have made this decision.

“We will hire a general manager and that person will lead the effort to hire a new head coach.”

For now, Joe Judge is going to take some time to assess his options for the future. And he’ll have some time to eat pizza and drink beer in the meantime.
