The Joe Ingles-Paul George beef has been re-ignited during the postseason series between the Jazz and Clippers.

The feud for Ingles and George started during the 2017-18 playoffs, when George’s Thunder couldn’t get passed Ingles and the Jazz. Throughout the series, Ingles was a pain in the side of George, and the two exchanged words often. It was also coincidentally the last time when PG13 actually played well in the playoffs.

Despite the noise surrounding the Paul George-Joe Ingles beef, Ingles thinks the whole thing is a little ‘old’.

“The whole narrative of Paul George vs. Joe Ingles is a little bit old in my mind,” Ingles said via Sports Illustrated. “It’s Jazz vs. Clippers now. … I personally don’t read into the 1-on-1 stuff. That was three years ago. My twins could barely speak then and now they annoy the hell out of me.”

In Game 1 of the Jazz-Clippers series, Joe Ingles and Paul George exchanged some words, but nothing really got too out of hand.

It seems like Ingles is ready to put the whole thing behind him.

Paul George, on the other hand, has plenty to worry about with his overall game. While the Clippers only lost by three points during Game One, George was atrocious. He shot 4-17 from the floor for 20 points.

We’ll see if we get any fireworks from Paul George and Joe Ingles in Game 2. I wouldn’t necessarily expect the longtime feud to boil over.
