If Kenny Pickett is worried at all about how his small hands might affect his ability to be an NFL quarterback, all he has to do is look at Joe Burrow for re-assurance.

On Thursday, it was revealed that Pickett has smaller hands than any starting quarterback in the NFL. Obviously, the internet had its way with that one.

As Kenny Pickett’s hand size was going viral, an old tweet sent from Joe Burrow after his combine measurements resurfaced.

“Considering retirement after I was informed the football will be slipping out of my tiny hands. Please keep me in your thoughts,” Burrow wrote in 2020.

Despite the small hand size, Joe Burrow went on to be the first overall selection by the Bengals, and he hasn’t disappointed.

After recovery from a torn ACL all last season, Burrow rebounded with an MVP-caliber campaign in 2021, leading a mediocre Bengals roster all the way to the Super Bowl.

No one really knows if Kenny Pickett will make it as an NFL QB. But what we do know, is that it won’t be his hand size that ends up being the deciding-factor.
