It’s been about 24 hours since the Texans announced the firing of Bill O’Brien, and J.J. Watt seems to be just fine with it. I’ll let you interpret what he meant with this tweet.

The sun came out and shined on NRG Stadium. Seems like J.J. sees a new day, and light at the end of the tunnel for his beloved franchise.

J.J. Watt certainly sounded pissed after last week’s loss to the Vikings dropped the Texans to 0-4. It’s brutal. I mean, it’s depressing. It sucks,” Watt said via NFL.com. “This sucks. I don’t know any other way to put it. I don’t know any other way than to work harder.”

Seems like J.J Watt was ready for a change for the Texans, and he’s entitled to it. He’s given the Texans everything he has, and who knows how many years he has left. I’m sure J.J. wants to win, and he wants to win in Houston.

He’s been like a son to the city of Houston for his entire tenure with the Texans. His contributions around the community have been just as important as his impact on the field, and he should be a no-doubt Hall-Of-Famer.

I hope the Texans can make a quick turn around, and become contenders again. At least for Watt’s sake. He should have a say in who the team hires next, I think he’s earned that. Maybe the sun will shine on J.J. Watt and the Texans again soon.
