Not only does Adam Gase still have a job, but he was given a vote of confidence by general manager Joe Douglas today. Douglas was asked point blank by New York media members if Adam Gase was part of the solution for the Jets. Here was his answer.

Douglas elaborated on his Gase take.

The key part of what Douglas says is the “and be here together for a while” part.

Oof.

This is bad, bad news for any Jets fan to hear today. Not only do they have to bear Adam Gase for the remainder of this season, but he also might be sticking around even longer?

This is another tough look for a Jets organization that’s shaping up to be one of the biggest shit shows of all time. Adam Gase has literally never proven anything. Somehow, he continues to get opportunities.

Maybe he’s really persuasive, I don’t know. I do know that Gase has no business being a head coach in the NFL, and Joe Douglas should be pulling the plug immediately. Not extending it. Enough is enough.
