Jay Williams Now Claims Twitter Account Was Hacked After Ime Udoka Tweet Backlash

ESPN NBA analyst Jay Williams is not claiming his Twitter account was hacked after making horribly incorrect Ime Udoka post

NBA analyst Jay Williams was heavily mocked on Wednesday afternoon after he sent out a congratulatory tweet to Ime Udoka following the news of the Nets assistant landing the Celtics head coach job.

In his tweet, Williams referred to Udoka as “the first head coach of color in Celtics history.”

After the terrible mistake, Jay Williams has an excuse. He claims his account was hacked, and he now has changed his passcode for Twitter.

“As it relates to the Boston Celtics tweet that came from my account a couple of hours ago… I did not post that & my passcode has now been changed,” he wrote.

Fans aren’t really buying the Jay Williams explanation.

It’s not like Jay Williams’ initial tweet about Ime Udoka was harmful, just pretty stupid. If he is lying that his account was hacked, it’s kind of pathetic.

Anyways, Williams will now just hope that fans forget about this whole situation sooner rather than later.

You would kind of think that a hacker would have something more contentious to say if they were able to crack into Williams’ Twitter account.
