Is James Harden already on the way out in Brooklyn?

It has been reported throughout the season that Harden has been fed up with all the off-the-court drama in the Nets organization (specifically with Kyrie Irving’s vaccination status), and he’s looking at other options.

The main rumor has been linked to James Harden joining his former GM, Daryl Morey, with the Philadelphia 76ers.

Prior to Tuesday’s game against the Celtics, it was announced that Brooklyn was holding James Harden out for non-injury related reasons.

Fans were immediately convinced that a James Harden trade is imminent.

James Harden and the Nets have underperformed thus far in 2021-22.

The superteam came into the season s the clear favorite to come out of the Eastern Conference at the end of the season. But they’ve sputtered out of the gates, going 29-24, good for seventh place in the conference at the moment.

Perhaps James Harden has recognized that the chemistry is outta whack in Brooklyn, and he’s looking into what other destinations he could work with.

Time will tell.
