Is Bryon Leftwich headed home?

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator is expected to interview for the Jaguars’ head-coaching job according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.

Tom Brady has already gave Leftwich a ringing endorsement.

“Byron has been amazing for me to work with, and I know he’ll have a lot of [head-coaching] opportunities,” Brady said last month. “He’ll do a great job.”

Jacksonville selected Byron Leftwich with the No. 7 overall pick in the 2003 NFL Draft, and he played for the Jaguars from 2003-06.

Leftwich started his coaching career with Bruce Arians’ Cardinals staff back in 2016, Leftwich joined him to Tampa in 2019.

Time for Leftwich to take the captain’s chair.
