Golden Tate isn’t happy being a New York Giants. He has made that very clear. After Tate’s late touchdown last week, he yelled into the camera, “throw me the damn ball“.

The Giants didn’t like that. They reprimanded him, only for Tate and his wife to take to social media to voice their displeasure with the Giants organization. Yes, this whole thing is a complete shitshow.

Now, it appears Joe Judge will be benching Golden Tate For the Giants game against the Washington Football Team this Sunday.

According to the NY Daily News, Tate was wearing a pinnie in practice all week. This would indicate that Tate is a member of the “scout team”for this week. Here’s what Joe Judge had to say when asked whether Golden Tate would be available for Sunday’s game or not.

“We still have an entire day of practice to go through, so I’ll evaluate everything and make decisions on the back end of what we’re going to do through the weekend,” Judge said. “I’m gonna discuss a lot of possibilities today after practice.”

Cornerback James Bradberry spoke on what it was like to have a veteran such as Tate play on the scout team.

“It’s a little different,” Bradberry said.

Joe Judge has said that he has spoken “at length” with Tate about where they both stand. However, it appears that Golden Tate remains in the doghouse.
