UFC 271 is going down at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas Saturday with Isreal Adesanya defending his belt against former opponent, and title holder, Robert Whittaker.

The card is stacked and the co-main event is setting up to be a clash of titans as hometown Derrick Lewis is facing off against Tai Tuivasa.

Prior to the clash of fists, Isreal Adesanya took to the microphone this week to defend UFC announcer and podcast host Joe Rogan after multiple videos popped up with him using the N-word.

A reporter asked Dana White about the whole situation, but Adesanya decided to answer the bell and respond to the question saying that “There’s a lot of snakes in this game and Joe Rogan is one of the nicest, coolest, humble mother f–kers in the game”. Here is the whole breakdown of what was said by Izzy ahead of UFC 271.

Lots has been made of Rogan’s podcast lately which had him removed from the UFC 271 card as an announcer.

There is no doubt that Dana White doesn’t care too much and that it was more of a business decision to keep Rogan off the card for this weekend.

I would expect Joe Rogan to be back in the next couple of cards breaking down fights like he has for the UFC for many years.

UFC 271 kicks off at 6 PM EST, and the main card starts around 10 PM EST.
