Investigation Reveals the Reason Why Kobe Bryant’s Helicopter Crashed

It’s been more than a year, and now we finally have some closure. The crash took place on January 26, 2020. The National Transportation Safety Board has revealed their findings on their investigation of the deadly helicopter crash that killed Kobe Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter Gianna, and 7 others. The pilot suffered from “spatial disorientation” after flying through clouds and becoming disoriented.

The official definition of “spatial disorientation” is the “inability of a pilot to correctly interpret aircraft attitude, altitude or airspeed in relation to the Earth or other points of reference.”

One investigator said “the pilot doesn’t know which way is up.”
