Internet Reacts to Washington’s Two Potential Nicknames

As the NFL season rapidly approaches the end of the regular season, Washington Football Team is still without a nickname. Now there’s reports that Washington’s owner Daniel Snyder has whittled things down to two possible nicknames. Snyder likes “Washington Football Team” and could keep the name as currently is. The other name the team could use is “Washington Football Club.”

Surely they can come up with a universally loved nickname, no?

Football club is a little bit unusual considering a professional NFL team is not a club, and it’s not soccer,  it’s american football.

One of the tweets summed it up perfectly, whatever Daniel Snyder chooses will be the wrong choice.
