In an interview with GQ, the NBA Rookie of Year shows his immaturity by dissing the importance of an education. ‘‘We not trippin’ off school,’’ LaMelo Ball, the NBA Rookie of the Year last season, told his GQ interviewer. ‘‘We don’t need school. And school not even teachin’ you [bleep] — what the [bleep] is school?’’ Melo is also learning what it’s like to date an older woman.

Melo’s girlfriend Ana Montana is 13 years his senior.

Ana recently popped up in LaMelo’s Instagram story.
