Ian Book Posts Heartfelt Message To Notre Dame As He Hopes For A Shot In The NFL

Notre Dame quarterback Ian Book didn’t finish his senior year the way he wanted to, but that shouldn’t take away from all the things he was able to accomplish for the Fighting Irish. Book and the Irish got blown out by Alabama in the College Football Semifinal 31-14.

Book took to Twitter to post his farewell to the university.

“I will always carry ND with me. I’m eternally grateful for the faith and trust from the coaches, staff, professors and athletic department,” Book wrote. “My teammates and I will always be connected by the bond that comes with wearing the gold helmet. Thank you, Notre Dame!”

Sideaction’s Latest:

Ian Book’s 30 wins is the most by and Notre Dame quarterback in their rich history. He will finish his career with 8,948 passing yards, 1,518 rushing yards, and 92 total touchdowns.

While Book isn’t considered to be a high prospect, he’ll likely get his shot in the NFL. I’d expect him to be a mid-to-late round draft pick, and we’ll see if he can make a career out of football.

Best of luck to Ian Book for whatever the future holds. Notre Dame is losing one of their best ever
