HBO Releases Teaser Trailer for Tiger Woods Documentary During Masters Week

The cable giant’s long-gestating Tiger Woods film promises to be “illuminating in sweeping scope and vast detail of the rise, fall, and epic comeback of global icon Tiger Woods.” HBO is anticipating that the documentary will be for Tiger Woods what “The Last Dance” was for Michael Jordan.

Audiences got their first taste in a trailer that hit YouTube today. Woods’ late father Earl features prominently:

“Please forgive me, but sometimes I get very emotional when I talk about my son,” Earl says. “He will transcend this game and bring to the world a humanitarianism which has never been known before.”
