The NFL PED scandal is growing. Denver Broncos cornerback AJ Bouye joins Houston Texans Will Fuller and Bradley Roby on the list of NFL players recently hit with severe suspensions due to the use of performance-enhancing drugs. This follows a flurry of suspensions handed down from the league, all of which involved use of the same substance.

Multiple reports are coming in connecting the suspensions in a league-wide scandal. The players all claimed to have been lied to about the substance they were using by a doctor. Fuller and Roby are current teammates for the Houston Texans. Bouye played in Houston for four years, until joining Jacksonville in 2017.

It seems likely that more players will be named in the scandal soon as this story will progress over the next couple of days. As wild as it might seem that players at this level do not know what they’re putting in their body, this could actually be a case of a rogue doctor misleading players. We will have to wait and see what the NFL’s investigations find. For now, AJ Bouye is just another name in a growing NFL PED scandal.
