Who remembers NBA player Lazar Hayward?

The Former NBA player was arrested in Hawaii last week after allegedly using fake COVID test results to avoid quarantine.

Hayward was traveling with an individual when they were arrested at Lihue Airport in Kauai after police were informed that the pair uploaded fake negative COVID test results into the state’s Safe Travels portal. Hawaii requires a 10-day traveler quarantine.
Because they did not want to quarantine, they uploaded the fake results.

Hayward was charged with unsworn falsification, the station reported.

Hayward was selected with the No. 30 overall pick in the 2010 draft out of Marquette by the Washington Wizards. He played three seasons in the NBA.

Hayward averaged 2.9 points and 1.3 rebounds in 72 games for his NBA career. Now he’ll forever be known as the fake vaccine guy.
