Former Houston Texans Receiver Andre Johnson Says Deshaun Watson Should Demand A Trade

September 21, 2014: Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson (80) during a NFL game between the Houston Texans and the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ The Giants defeated the Texans 30-17

Former Houston Texans receiver Andre Johnson feels his great career was wasted, and he doesn’t want to see the same thing happen to Deshaun Watson. It has been reported that Watson isn’t happy with the team’s ownership, or the hire of new general manager Nick Caserio.

Deshaun Watson has not yet made a public comment about the move, but has taken to social media to send cryptic messages, and a lot of reports indicate that he might ask to be traded out of Houston.

Andre Johnson thinks that would be a wise move for the young quarterback.

“If I’m @Deshaunwatson I will stand my ground. The Texans organization is known for wasting players careers. Since Jack Easterby has walk into the building nothing good has happened in/for the organization and for some reason someone can’t seem to see what’s going on. Pathetic!!!” Johnson wrote on his Twitter.

Andre Johnson spent the first 12 years of his career playing in Houston. By the time he left, he was old, worn down, and didn’t have much left in the tank. Despite making the Pro Bowl seven times as a Texan, Johnson only went to the playoffs twice.

It sure sounds like Andre Johnson is still salty that the Houston Texans never could build a winner around him. Can you blame him?
