On Tuesday night, Karl-Anthony Towns starting trending after he “liked” a tweet saying #FreeKAT.

Of course, this would insinuate that Towns has finally had enough of being a part of the losing culture in Minnesota.

But when Karl-Anthony Towns woke up on Wednesday, he had a different take altogether.

The big man said he had no recollection of ever liking the tweet, and claimed his must have been hacked.

Fans weren’t buying KAT’s claim that he was hacked.

I feel like if someone actually successfully hacked Karl-Anthony Towns’ account they’d probably be doing something a little bit more reckless than “liking” one tweet.

But I guess we’ll never know.

To no one’s surprise, KAT and the T-Wolves have come out of the gates rather mediocre, starting 3-4 on the young season.
