Fans Are Convinced Oscar De La Hoya Was On Cocaine While Calling The Jake Paul Fight

2 SEP 2014: Oscar De La Hoya speaks during the press conference for the lightweight Unification Bout between Bernard "The Alien" Hopkins and Sergey "Krusher" Kovalev to be held November 8, 2014 at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City,NJ. The Press Conference was held at the Waldorf Astoria New York.

Former legendary boxer Oscar De La Hoya is making his return to the ring. While his opponent has yet to be announced, the “Golden Boy” has promised fans that he’ll be back in the ring next month. With that being said, UFC president Dana White was asked about why De La Hoya might feel the need to get back into boxing.

“Cocaine isn’t cheap,” White said. “It’s expensive…gotta make money.”

Oscar De La Hoya was on the call during this weekend’s Jake Paul-Ben Askren fight. Sure enough, people were convinced that he was on cocaine while commentating on the fights.

Jokes aside, I hope Oscar De La Hoya gets the help he needs. It’s starting to sound like this dude might have a legitimate problem.

I don’t know if him coming back to boxing at 48-years-old if really what he needs right now. Hopefully he finds a way to get clean.

Oscar De La Hoya was one of the most popular fighters in the sport of boxing back in his day, and I’d hate to see him continue this sharp decline.
