Baltimore Orioles’ player Ryan Mountcastle has eight home runs already this season, but last week one of them hit fan, Jake Jones in the head. Jones posted on Twitter following the incident saying that he needed stitches and also had a concussion from the hit.

You can clearly see the ball just bouncing off this guy’s head back in to the field of play. Now as an adult you have to hope that you’re able to make a better play that completely whiffing on the ball and taking it off the dome. I guess this is why we still see some adults bring gloves to the game, especially if they’re sitting right on the wall!
Luckily for Jones, Mountcastle was able to get in to connection with him and told him that he would hook him up with something next time he came to a game. That game happened last night where Mountcastle gave him a signed bat!
The Orioles ended up losing 14-1 to the Mets last night, but Jones was still probably in a good mood after receiving the bat.
