Ezekiel Elliott Got Crushed For his Performance in the Cowboys Season Opener

Ezekiel Elliott sent a strong message to any fan or member of the media who called out his week one performance because the stats were bad

The NFL season has finally started which can only mean one thing, it’s time to start criticizing players for their performances. Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott didn’t have the most memorable night ever. He definitely didn’t do much in reality or fantasy. Ever since the Cowboys signed him to a six-year, $90 million extension in 2019, he hasn’t lived up to the hype. In 40 plays at the half, Zeke only had 4 carries and 5 total touches.

It’s only been one game but Dallas fans and fantasy managers are already taking to Twitter to complain.

See what I mean  below:

The days of the workhorse fantasy back are far and few between. The NFL is 100% a passing league, and that was on full display last night.

Zeke will have a good week at least a few times this season, but I wouldn’t count on much more. The Cowboys are too pass happy.
