The fallout from the Eagles controversial loss to the Redskins continues on.  It sure appeared like Philadelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson chose to lose Sunday’s game against Washington on purpose  when he pulled QB Jalen Hurts in the 4th quarter. The move absolutely infuriated everyone, from fans and other players in the league, to even his own players.

Reportedly some of his own players tried to confront Pederson on the sidelines.

Sideaction’s Latest:

Via TMZ:

Remember, Pederson pulled his rookie QB in the 4th quarter in Sunday night’s matchup with the Washington Football Team … despite only trailing by 3 points.

Hurts was replaced by Nate Sudfeld — and according to the Inquirer, “many” Eagles players and coaches were “shocked and outraged.”

the report says, “Two defensive players had to be held back from approaching Pederson.”

The report does not name those players — but notes that two other players, including center Jason Kelce and another starter, “went to the coach to ask him why he had pulled the starting quarterback with the Eagles trailing by only 3.”

The move really pissed off Giants coach Joe Judge:

It’s going to be a long time before Pederson lives this down.

A total bush league move.
